This ride is for our NWSCC riders that can confidently complete the Intermediate distance ride and want to take on the challenge of the century. Let’s work together and challenge ourselves to a 100km ride. This ride has a flat start and finish with a challenging hill in the middle.
Starting at Kangazilla we will ride to Richmond and follow Springwood Rd to Yarramundi. This is where the climbing starts following a series of hairpins and bends to Winmalee and continue to Springwood. We will stop at Springwood for a quick coffee and recovery from the climb at Dbl Ristretto Cafe.
Heading home we will follow the highway down to Blaxland Station and ride down Mitchell’s Pass to Penrith. From here we will ride through less busy roads joining the M7 cycleway at Glendenning back to Kangazilla. All welcome but the goal is to help our newer riders to Crack the Century.
