The 3rd Annual Newcastle Overnight event will be held on November 28, two days after full moon. This is a spectacular event that you will remember for many years to come. Starting at 9pm at Sydney Observatory Hill, you will ride in complete darkness with about 200 other riders to Newcastle along the Pacific Highway. Rest stops on the way provide food and drink for a gold coin donation and the cafeteria at Newcastle Baths does a great breakfast from 5am.

Cost is $6 for CA members ($16 for non-members).

This is a great way to ride with strangers that share a passion for cycling and you will find yourself joining and leaving various peletons along the way as you ride at your own pace. While you can ride this event on your own it is much more enjoyable if you sign up with a friend and complete the challenge together and support each other along the way at your own pace.
